Christmas Services for 2024 beginning with Blue Christmas Saturday the the 21st of December
A Blue Christmas Taize-inspired service includes reflective music, prayers, readings, and scripture relevant to suffering loss and to Advent (a time of waiting for hope to arrive). It acknowledges God’s presence for those who mourn and for those who struggle.
Taizé is a service of Christian worship practised by the ecumenical Taizé community in France. It is characterised by repetitive singing of simple harmonised tunes, often in various languages, interspersed with readings, prayers, and periods of silence.

World Day of Prayer to be held 1st March at The Abbey Church, Caboolture.
Commissioning of The Rev’d Gary Tognola at St. Peter’s Anglican Church
At St Peter’s we meet to worship on custodial land of the oldest living civilisation in the world. We pay our respects to Gubbi Gubbi people and their Elders, past, present and emerging, for they hold the hopes, dreams, traditions and cultures of Aboriginal Australia. We acknowledge and respect their spiritual connection to country and their stewardship of the land that now sustains us all.
