The church hall “Cooinda” is available for hire by community groups.  It has been recently renovated and has seating capacity of 70 and has a well equipped food service kitchen (the kitchen is not licenced as a food preparation area). 

Current Casual Rates

  • Single use $24 per hour

  • If the kitchen is required – $36 flat rate in addition to rental fee

  • Rentals of 6 hours or more $180 including the use of the kitchen.

Baby changing, ramp access, wheel-chair accessible toilets, onsite parking.

Conditions of Hire

Those hiring the hall need to complete a rental agreement with the parish and hold their own public liability insurance.  Alternatively, this can be arranged through the Diocese for single use if necessary.  For activities involving children, leaders must hold current Working with Children Suitability Cards.  Unfortunately storage space is limited and cannot be made available for organisations using the hall.

At St Peter’s we meet to worship on custodial land of the oldest living civilisation in the world. We pay our respects to Gubbi Gubbi people and their Elders, past, present and emerging, for they hold the hopes, dreams, traditions and cultures of Aboriginal Australia. We acknowledge and respect their spiritual connection to country and their stewardship of the land that now sustains us all.
