Notices for this week
Health and Safety Notice- If you feel you may be contagious with cold and flu symptoms, please refrain from attending church activities. All parishioners and encouraged to maintain good hygiene practices and respect others personal space
ALERT! : Car Park Safety! As a community, we need to be mindful of the increase in the number of electric and hybrid vehicles, leading to an increased risk of accidents occurring due to the lack of engine noise. When cars are backing out, drivers should be mindful to check for cross traffic behind them, meaning pedestrians as well as other vehicles. It has been brought to our attention that EV and Hybrid vehicles are silent, and due diligence should be observed by both drivers and pedestrians to avoid any unforeseen accidents
An Update from the Parish Office:
Please be advised that, as of this coming Monday, the 22nd, the office will be closed for the Christmas break. We will officially be back on deck as of January 26, 2026. As always, we are contactable on the Office number, 07 3408 3191 should you have any urgent requirements (This call will divert to Rev'd Gary's Mobile when not answered). Please leave a message at any time, if need be, as Rev'd Gary will also be away during this period and will respond to your messages as soon as possible
AMUA Next Gathering:
AMUA will meet again in February 2026. If you would like to know any information regarding AMUA please contact the office. Season's Greetings!
Attention Craft Makers!!: If you are interested in providing any ideas for saleable craft to be included in future Church stalls, Please contact Sue on 0416 339 972 if you have any queries or would like to attend”

Our next service at Ningi will be on Sunday, 1st February 2026. Put the word out, all are welcome, and we hope you can bring a friend too!

Please note those who intend to be nominated for a new position on the Parish Council. The following advice was given in the October Diocesan Monthly Memorandum:
'Safe Ministry Checks must be completed prior to appointment to a role. The previous guideline said completion was within 21 days. This practice is inconsistent with using the SM Check as a suitability tool. In accordance with the Safe Ministry to Children Canon, Safe Ministry Checks must be completed prior to appointment.'
This therefore means that all prospective members must complete these requirements for acceptance to the council before the AGM Meeting on 22nd of February 2026 at 10 AM.

An Update from Tim: "The widows and orphans have received the bags of seed and fertilizer so generously donated. These were delivered by Fr Thomas and Marggie using the laden down 29 year old Toyota RAV 4. (Donated by Jean some years ago). Fr Thomas writes from Zimbabwe, "How inspiring and encouraging it was to witness the joy for abundance of their hearts. They shed tears of joy as they prayed for the donors. It was so timely, to God be the glory.
We remain very humble to be the vessel that can be used to bring joy where there is sadness and hope where there is despair.
Thank you very much. May God bless you and all the donors for such a noble cause."
Without this donation, the widows and orphans would have starved next year; they live in the bush, and there is NO social welfare or Government help for anyone in Zimbabwe. I thank you deeply for your kindness. These widows and orphans are all Christians so they are singing their praises to God and praying for the donors!
