Life-giving God, your Son came into the world to free us all from sin and death: breathe upon us with the power of your Spirit, that we may be raised to new life in Christ, and serve you in holiness and righteousness all our days; through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God, now and for ever. Amen.

Dramatic Reading for Good Friday and Palm/Passion Sunday: Thursday 26th at 1pm to 2pm
We are hoping to have a practice run-through of the dramatic readings on Thursday, the 26th (Next Thursday), for all the people who have kindly put their names down to read a part. Copies of the readings will be going out shortly, and we hope that you can come along and join in the practice

AMUA Gathering:
AMUA Bribie Island will be holding their next gathering on Monday, 23rd March at 10:00am. This meeting will be the Wave of Prayer / Prayer and Spirituality activity. As always, all are welcome to come along.
All are welcome. Please also bring a plate if you can, to share
This Sunday is Mothering Sunday - 15th of March
There will be a retiring Collection after each service on Sunday for education in the Solomon Islands

Next Saturday, the 28th of March, will be the church decorating day for the Easter period. If you can help out with Palm Fronds, this would be great.
Start time is 9:00am, and we hope that you will be able to help out or drop off your palm fronds

CRAFTERS
THIS YEAR OF 2026, WE ARE LOOKING AT 4 DATES TO DISPLAY AND SELL OUR GOODS.
1. EASTER STALL WILL BE BETWEEN AND AFTER SERVICES OF EASTER SUNDAY, 5TH APRIL
A raffle for a voucher of $50.00 for the Arts Centre Bribie has been kindly donated by Ariana Doolan
2. MOTHER’S DAY STALL IN EARLY MAY, HELD AT THE UNITING CHURCH.
3. CHRISTMAS DAY STALL IN NOVEMBER, HELD AT THE UNITING CHURCH.
4. OUR "BIGGIE", WILL BE OUR PATRONAL DAY, 5TH JULY, HELD AT OUR CHURCH, PROCEEDING AFTER OUR 8:30 AM SERVICE AND PRECEDING MORNING TEA.
A reminder, all cooked goods must have the ingredients and date of cooking clearly advertised.
Please PRICE your goods by what YOU might pay for the item YOURSELF. You know how much goes into the goods and how much time is spent processing.

If you wish to make your own at home, this would be a great help. Please drop any that you have made into the church office before the 26th.
Our next service at Ningi will be on Sunday, 5th April 2026. Put the word out, all are welcome, and we hope you can bring a friend too!
Sunday Roster - There are vacancies in the following duties that are always in need of being filled. Sunday Services, both 7.30am and 9.30am. AV Operators, Welcomers, Sidepersons and Intercessors are needed. Interested persons are asked to contact Margaret Peterson on 07 5497 6978
Name Badges - If you would like a new name badge, there is a list in the narthex. Please print your name clearly on the list. The cost is $12 per badge, which can be paid when you receive your badge using the "return" envelope and placing your payment in the gifting box in the narthex. Badges will be ordered at the beginning of each month when needed
Donations - There is a box of envelopes in the narthex (with a pen) for use by anyone wishing to give money in the giving box for specific reasons e.g. Retiring Collections, payment for attending functions, purchase of items such as calendars, etc. Please, please, write on the envelope what the money is for, your name and the amount. This will greatly assist the counters to distribute the funds to the correct account.
