AMUA Bribie Island will be holding their next gathering on Monday, 27th April at 10:00am. At this gathering, we are asking our members and visitors to bring any ANZAC stories and memorabilia

Dinner raffle for 6 people:
Dinner Party raffle tickets are now available. If you are interested, Margaret Peterson and Frankie Park have tickets available. We'd love to get this opportunity out to the wider community. If you can take a set of five tickets to share among family and friends, it would be much appreciated. The raffle will be drawn in mid-May
$6.00 per ticket, Choice of Midday or Evening meal
Friday 29th or Saturday 30th May 2026
You may choose one of each course option as follows.
The dinner will be delivered to your home ready to serve.
Braised Chicken wrapped in bacon served with olives, small onions & small potatoes
OR
Antipasto platter
Lasagne and steamed vegs
OR
Curried lamb served with steamed rice
Peach Kuchen and whipped cream
OR
Individual chocolate mousse, raspberries, and mint crisp
Drinks and after dinner treat included
This raffle raises funds to cover general expenses
To Crafters from Suzie:
A big thank you to all who so kindly donated goods and time to our Sunday Easter Stall. At last count, we raised approximately $860.00. The raffle 1st prize, being the gift card of $50.00, kindly donated by Ariana Doolan, for the Banksia Beach Art Museum, went to C. Guymer and 2nd prize of the crocheted bed runner went to S. Leckie. Thank you to those who bought tickets and supported the raffle.
Also, a big thank you to everyone for marking the ingredients and price on your donated goods.
For the remaining of 2026, we are now looking at 3 dates to display and sell our goods.
The next stall at St. Peters will be on our Patronal Day 5th July 2026.
1. Mother’s Day stall early 9th May, held at the Uniting Church.

A reminder, all cooked goods must have the Ingredients and date of cooking clearly advertised.
Please PRICE your goods by what YOU might pay for the item YOURSELF. You know how much goes into the goods and how much time is spent processing. Looking forward to seeing your lovely work.
Birthday Cards
Also, we like to have a stockpile of hand-made birthday cards ready for sending out to our Parishioners monthly. We would appreciate any card contributions to this ministry.

Sunday Roster - There are vacancies in the following duties that are always in need of being filled. Sunday Services, both 7.30am and 9.30am. AV Operators, Welcomers, Sidepersons and Intercessors are needed. Interested persons are asked to contact Margaret Peterson on 07 5497 6978
Name Badges - If you would like a new name badge, there is a list in the narthex. Please print your name clearly on the list. The cost is $12 per badge, which can be paid when you receive your badge using the "return" envelope and placing your payment in the gifting box in the narthex. Badges will be ordered at the beginning of each month when needed
Donations - There is a box of envelopes in the narthex (with a pen) for use by anyone wishing to give money in the giving box for specific reasons e.g. Retiring Collections, payment for attending functions, purchase of items such as calendars, etc. Please, please, write on the envelope what the money is for, your name and the amount. This will greatly assist the counters to distribute the funds to the correct account.
