AMUA Gathering:
A big thanks to Ken Park for kindly sharing his memories of his time in the forces, which were received with appreciation by our members. We heard of many personal experiences, as well as experiences from members' relatives. It was a morning of deep reflection and pride for those who made this journey for us. AMUA will be setting up and serving morning tea on May 10th, 2026, when our Archbishop Jeremy will be visiting. The next gathering will be on Monday, 25th May 2026, at 10:00 am Eucharist in St. Peter’s, followed by morning tea in Cooinda.  The morning will continue with "With Fun With Trivia”.  All are welcome.

This Sunday, there will be a retiring collection for DV Sunday

To Crafters from Suzie:
For the remainder of 2026, we are now looking at 3 dates to display and sell our goods. The next stall at St. Peter's will be on our Patronal Day, the 5th of July 2026. Also, there will be 2 stalls at the Uniting Church.

1. Mother’s Day stall on 9th May, held at the Uniting Church.

2. Patronal Day, 5th July, St. Peter's, after our 8:30 am service.
3. Christmas stall in November, to be held at the Uniting Church.

A reminder, all cooked goods must have the ingredients and date of cooking clearly advertised. Please PRICE your goods by what YOU might pay for the item YOURSELF. You know how much goes into the goods and how much time is spent processing.

Looking forward to seeing your lovely work.

Birthday Cards

Also, we like to have a stockpile of handmade birthday cards ready for sending out to our parishioners monthly. Thank you to those who have already supplied cards, and we appreciate any card contributions to this ministry.
Thank you for your ongoing support in these matters.
