BAKERS AND CRAFTERS NEEDED – Parish Council has approved the running of a Christmas Stall on Sunday 1st December following the combined 10.00am service and before the Parish Christmas Lunch. The stall will have a Christmas theme however we would be grateful of any types of cakes, biscuits, slices or confectionary. If each baker could make just one item, it would go towards making the event a success. We also are needing jams, chutneys, pickles and preserves. A list of ingredients will be required for each baked and cooked item. For craft we would love any sewn, knitted, crotched, cross-stitched items, cards, artwork, woodwork which would be suitable for Christmas gifts. We need help to make this work so if you have a talent and can donate an item it would be greatly appreciated. For more information please contact Debbie Eustace 0413 027 349 or Lorraine James 0427 120 378

Dear fellow brothers in Christ,
The Uniting Church is holding a men’s breakfast event and invites the members of St Peters to visit with them and enjoy the fellowship and laughter of our group.
Please find below the information from there Pastor Pierre van Blommestein:-
We meet on the first Saturday of the month (Feb to Dec) in our church hall at 7.15 for 7.30. So the next event is this coming Saturday, 2 November, at which one of our members will be sharing his holiday photos. We have a wide range of guest speakers over the year, depending on who is available.
The usual procedure is gather at 7.15 to get coffee/tea and meet & greet, grace and food at 7.30, and then the guest speaker at about 8.15, to finish with a blessing at 9.
We have a cooked breakfast of bacon, eggs, sausages, hashbrowns, beans & toast cooked on the BBQ.
The group have for many years supported the Frontier Services Bush Padre in Cloncurry, and so our cost for the breakfast is $10, most of which goes to this cause to buy avgas for his plane.
We would love to share the time with our Anglican brothers on Saturday, so let me know if any are interested in visiting with us. And if you could please let me know numbers by this coming Thursday so we can get the catering right.
Blessings and peace to you and the men at St Peters.
Pierre van Blommestein (Rev)
Although this is a great opportunity ecumenically, I would like to explore if our parish members would be interested in forming our own group to meet Cooinda regularly. Let me know if this is of interest to any of you.
Thanks, Prayers, and Blessings.
Rev. Gary
