Health and Safety Notice – If you feel you may be contagious with cold and flu symptoms, please refrain from attending church activities. All parishioners are encouraged to maintain good hygiene practices and respect others personal space.
Lenten Envelopes – Funds raised from donations to the ABM Lent and Good Friday 2024 Appeal go to supporting women and children in the Holy Land needing life-changing health care. You can donate online www.abmission.org/Lent2024 or there are giving envelopes in the narthex beside the Tap Point Machine.
BCA & BMF Boxes - March is Money Box Collection Month, so please bring your boxes in to be counted.
Lenten Study Friday 8 March – Unfortunately the Lenten Study next Friday 8th March has been cancelled. All participants are welcome to join in the Tuesday Lenten Study Group on the 5th March at 10.00am in the church.
Morning Prayer Friday 8 March – Please note that the morning prayer service on Friday 8th March has been cancelled.
Easter Cards – AMUA have Easter Cards available for purchase in the card stand in the narthex.
AMUA Christmas Cards & Diaries 2025 – Orders are now being taken for Mother’s Union Diaries and Christmas Cards for 2025. These need to be advised to Brenda Allardyce by Thursday 21st March. Please call on 3408 6648 or 0418 197 488.
AMUA Mothering Sunday Retiring Collection – Sunday 10th March the Mother’s Union is holding a retiring collection to support Pacific Islander Nations as they deal with changes to their environment due to increasing disruption caused by weather incidents such as cyclones and the effects of rising tides and flooding on villages.
Working Bee – Join us for a day of fellowship while we clean in and around the church. A variety of tasks to do, so something to suit everyone. Saturday 9th March from 8.00am to 11.00am including morning tea. Names on the narthex sheet please.
Palm Cross Making – Palm Crosses for Palm Sunday will be made on Monday 18th March in Cooinda from 2.00pm until approximately 3.00pm. Palm fronds will be supplied. All are welcome to attend. Any queries please contact Jon and Jan White.
Palm Sunday Decorating – Decorators and palm fronds are need on Saturday 23rd March at 9.00am to decorate the church for Palm Sunday. Please come along and enjoy a short morning of fun and fellowship while we get creative with palm fronds.
Sunday Roster – There are vacancies in the following duties for Sunday Services, both 7.30am and 9.30am. AV Operators, Welcomers, Sidespersons and Intercessors are needed. Interested persons are asked to contact Margaret Peterson on 5497 6978.
Name Badges – If you would like a new name badge there is a list in the narthex. Please print your name clearly on the list. Cost is $10 per badge which can be paid when received. Badges will be ordered at the beginning of the month.
Donations - There is a box of envelopes in the narthex (with a pen) for use by anyone wishing to give money in the giving box for specific reasons e.g. Retiring Collections, payment for attending a function, purchase of items such as calendars, etc. Please, please write on the envelope what the money is for, your name and the amount. This will greatly assist the counters to distribute the funds to the correct account.
